LOST Memorial Wristband

This awesome LOST Memorial Wristband went on presale yesterday. The first wave of 200 sold out in less than a day, but there will be a second wave on sale soon. The cost is $4.23 plus shipping, and $1.00 of each sale goes to the
Children's Defense Fund.
I will be wearing mine as I mourn the end of LOST. I also ordered a number of others to give to some of my LOSTIE pals.
Presale #2 will be the final chance to get one of the wristbands, with the total quantity manufactured limited to 523
(date of finale - clever :D).
Sales information and updates can be found at http://lostwristbands.wordpress.com

***UPDATE***
The second wave of 100 wristbands sold out tonight (Monday, May 3.)
Wave #3 of another 100 goes on sale Wednesday, May 5 at 4PM ET.
And the final batch goes on sale Friday, May 7 at 10 AM ET.

There has also been updated information that additional wristbands will be available to purchase sometime after finale.

LOST in my Office - Part 1

I have posted individual pictures of my LOST-themed art as each piece has been framed.
Most of the art hangs in my home, but several pieces have made their way to my office.
I spend a third of my life at the office, so it only makes sense for me to enjoy LOST at work as well as at home.

Jacob's Dog and The Black Rock Storm,
 both prints by Thomas Hannsz,
hang in the reception area/outer office of my workplace.

ReFramed! LOST by Jason Palmer

This is the first piece of LOST-themed art I ever purchased. The artist is Jason Palmer, and the print is signed in silver ink. The print is dated from 2005. The original 19" x24" painting is for sale at Jason Palmer Studios.
I posted a picture of this piece in one of the early entries of this blog, but reframed it over the weekend with a nicer, more substantial frame.

LOST / Gilligan's Island Mashups

The latest TeeFury LOST shirt was a mashup with Gilligan's Island:
Gilligan and the Skipper ponder the Hatch, while the Smoke Monster looks on.

This keychain features Gilligan posed with the Lostie Castaways.
I laugh every time I look at it.

Framed! Charlie Gig Poster by Larry Rhodes

I ordered this print back in December, and it was delivered yesterday.
The artist had delays with the printing, but it was definitely worth the wait!
Charlie's sacrifice was not included in any of the LOST Underground Art Project prints, so I was thrilled when Larry Rhodes undertook this project. Charlie's "5 Greatest Moments" form a border around three sides of the print.

My print is #11/50.

WWJLD? Cushion My Back!

I finally got around to making my extra TeeFury "What Would John Locke Do?" shirt by jimiyo into a pillow.
I am currently working on another, using the Hurley "Dude" shirt from TeeFury.
I bought a man's XL of both designs specifically for this purpose.

Rittenhouse Archives - LOST Seasons 1 - 5 /Artifex Cards

I have acquired the 25 card "Artifex" set of the Rittenhouse Archives LOST Seasons 1 -5 issue.
I'm not quite sure what artifex means, but it appears to be an arty, enhanced version of promo photos of cast members.
It seems like "watercolor" option was appled in photoshop. These are very impressive cards nonetheless.

Darwin and Seymour

My friend "LotteryTicket" also purchased a Dharma Bear and named hers Darwin.
She created this awesome photo of the "twins".

Seymour the Dharma Bear

I purchased this Dharma Bear from House of Darkly's Etsy Store.
http://www.etsy.com/shop/houseofdarkly
He was custom-made to order, and came with a Dharma collar and his own fish biscuit.
I have named him Seymour.

He made himself right at home as soon as he arrived.....

...joined me for cocktails

went exploring and found a treasure......

and let someone know who's boss!

TeeFury: 922044:16

This is another of my LOST-inspired TeeFury shirts.
 The artist is Jared Stumpenhorst.
He has an awesome project called LOST 365. He is creating a piece of LOST art every day. I recommend you check it out.

This particular design preceded the LOST project. It was the Friday, October 23, 2009 entry on his blog.

Candidates/Just Progress by Branden Otto

I have been trying to avoid posting about prints in my LOST collection until I have them framed.
This is an exception. Candidates (top) and Just Progress (bottom) form an amazing LOST-inspired diptych.
Branden Otto is the artist. My print of Candidates arrived this week. It is #9/50.
Just Progress goes on sale this Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at approximately 2:00 PM EST.
Candidates sold out in one day, so I recommend early purchase!

*****UPDATE*****
I was able to purchase Just Progress as well. Branden Otto  is sending #9/50 of this print  to create a matched set.
