LOST Tote Bag

I recently added this very cool
LOST Tote Bag to my collection.

I had never seen this version of a
LOST tote before, although
the same LOST island logo
appears on the LOST
messenger bag seen here:

Sawyer - The LOST Kitty

Sawyer joined my household a little under a year ago.

He was a "LOST" kitty, apparently abandoned when
his owner moved away.  He really adopted me.
He showed up one day and never left.

Sawyer is a Maine Coon cat.
He quickly challenged McKiever
for household dominance.

McKiever probably would have been named after
a LOST character as well, but he joined my household
pre-LOST. HOWEVER he does have a Scottish name.....
Coincidence, considering my love of Desmond?
I think not, Mr. Eko!
FATE.

"Fly Oceanic Airlines" by Nate Duval

There's been another addition to my
LOST art collection!
My most recent acquisition is by Nate Duval.
The print is titled
"Fly Oceanic Airlines"
and was part of the Product Placement
exhibit at Gallery 1988.

The print measures 18" x 24"
and was limited to 150 copies.

My copy is #121/150

Nate Duval is also the artist of "The Barracks",
the 13th print released in
The LOST Underground Art Project.

My print is #216/300.

Original ACEO Card by ArtGUS: Claire

I collected the LOST Investment Series
of Limited Edition cards
by Augustin Iglesias aka ArtGUS.
The first of three posts about the cards
can be read here:

Mr. Iglesias later began releasing original,
one-of-a-kind portraits of LOST characters.
And I went CRAZY, buying as many
as I could afford.

The portraits are standard ACEO size,
2.5" x 3.5" and done in graphite on 140 lb. card stock.

Claire

The back of the card is numbered 1/1
and signed by the artist.

Holy Grail

I began collecting LOST Trading Cards
from Inkworks as soon as they were released.
My Season 1 set, Revelations and Season 2 sets
are complete, including variations, dealer case incentives,
and promo cards.

But I was lacking one final card in the
Inkworks LOST Season 3 set.
It was the Holy Grail for me: the autographed
propworks card containing a piece of Oceanic 815
and signed by Greg Grunberg.

Rarer trading cards can be very pricey.
The quest is to find the elusive card at the right price.
I've spent over $100 on an individual card, but
prices on the autographed propworks card
were well over $200, closer to $250 for several
years after the set was released....
too much!

I finally found the card for the right price
and made it my Christmas gift to myself.

As with all of my prop, wardrobe/costume, autograph
and ACEO cards, the card has been placed
in a screw-down holder. I have made a
substantial investment in my collection
and want to be sure that the cards are properly
protected. The screw-down holders ensure
archival storage.

Rittenhouse Archives began producing
LOST Trading cards after Inkworks went out of business.
There are three Rittenhouse LOST Trading card sets
that I am currently trying to complete:
LOST Seasons 1-5
LOST Archives
LOST Relics
I am lacking about 10 cards
to complete all three sets.
The quest coninues!

"Rousseau's Transmission" by Dan McCarthy
was the ninth print released in the
LOST Underground Art Project, Series I
aka DamonCarltonAndAPolarBear.com

It's taken me FOREVER to have it framed,
(I forgot about it in the flat file- yeah I know, DUMMY ME)
but the results are spectacular and I am thrilled!

My print is #118/300.
