Duplicates Dilemma

I am a collector, but I am also a fan.  This has caused the dilemma of requiring duplicates purchases:  one to display and enjoy (and in some cases, play with), and one to keep in the original sealed package.  It has become an expensive proposition.  In many cases, I have not been able to justify the expense of a duplicate item to display.  In those cases I will post of photo of my mint-in-package item and a link or a manufacturer's photo of the package contents.

This has been the case with many of the Medicom toy items.  I have one 400% Bearbrick in package, one Jack and Bearbrick in package, one each of the Kubrick characters (except Ben - his plastic is a little too rich for me in this economy).   I also have one "Real Action Hero" by Medicom of Jack Shephard.

The Ben Kubrick I have been watching on ebay sold for $406.99!  Yikes!!!!
